ADEQUACIÓ I MILLORA DEL COL·LEGI OFICIAL D’ARQUITECTES DE GIRONA
Per a la millora de la Pia Almoina, es transforma el nucli de comunicacions en un espai semi-exterior.
A fi d’aconseguir una visió clara i neta, s’elimina l’últim nivell de l’estructura metàl·lica i el revestiment. D’aquesta manera es posa fi a les patologies que presentava l’edifici i es connecta l’espai amb el renovat nucli antic de Girona.
Es proposa un canvi de paradigma. S’obra l’edifici a la ciutat tot generant un nou context de relació entre els diferents organismes que s’apleguen a l’edifici.

ADECUACIÓN Y MEJORA DEL COLEGIO DE ARQUITECTOS DE GIRONA
Para la mejora de la Pia Almoina, se transforma el núcleo de comunicaciones en un espacio semiexterior.
Con el fin de lograr una visión clara y limpia, se elimina el último nivel de la estructura metálica y el revestimiento. De este modo se pone fin a las patologías que presentaba el edificio y se conecta el espacio con el renovado casco antiguo de Girona.
Se propone un cambio de paradigma. Se abre el edificio a la ciudad generando un nuevo contexto de relación entre los diferentes organismos que se congregan en el edificio.

REFORM OF THE REGIONAL ORDER OF ARCHITECTS IN GIRONA
In the reform of the Pia Almoina, we transform the vertical circulation space into a partially exterior area.
We achieve a clearer vision by removing the top level of the metal structure and the facing of the building. This is how we solve the pre-existing pathologies of the building and we connect this part of the building with the old town of Girona.
A paradigm shift is proposed. The building opens up to the city establishing a new context of social relation between the different institutions housed in the building.
